Last-minute Uber/Lyft cancellations are common. The passenger reserves and the driver confirm the ride days in advance, but on the day of the ride, they call A to Z in a panic because the Uber was cancelled.

We asked our clients what the rate was, and they gave us numbers like $85. An Uber driver would take home a maximum of 75% of that $

We asked our clients what the rate was, and they gave us numbers like $85. An Uber driver would take home a maximum of 75% of that $85 ($63.75). Then deduct 100+ miles on the car and ~$15 in gas. Round-trip typically takes 3 hours. These economics are why cancellations happen every weekend.

Don't forget, 191 through the Gallatin Canyon is one of the top 5 most dangerous roads in Montana
